SRINAGAR : Vijay Kumar, the additional director general of police (ADGP) for Kashmir, on Thursday hailed the efforts of his colleagues and other security agencies for successful G20 summit in Srinagar.”Vijay Kumar congratulates officers of BSF, SSB, NSG, MARCOS, NDRF , JKP, CRPF, Army & intelligence agencies for conducting incident free & successful G20 Summit, ” Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet.” The third G20 tourism working group conference in Srinagar was the first significant international event to take place in Kashmir since the August 2019 constitutional revisions.In Kashmir, there was a three-tiered security grid in place for the three days of the G20 Summit, from May 22–24. The National Security Guard (NSG) and MARCOS commandos have also been stationed around the site to oversee aerial surveillance drones. To avert any untoward incidents, the special operation group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police was also stationed at several locations.
