RAMBAN: An official said on Tuesday that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) in the Ramban area was closed by nonstop rain. On her social media page, Deputy Commissioner of Ramban Mussarat Zia requested that people avoid going today on NH-44 because it has been closed off by nonstop rain. “NH-44 is closed at Cafeteria Morh, close to Ramban, as a result of heavy rainfall. It is urged that people check TCUs for updates and stay home today, according to Deputy Commissioner Ramban’s X post.
