JAMMU: Dr. Piyush Singla took a thorough look at the School Education Department today at the Civil Secretariat after taking over as Secretary. The department’s officers gave a thorough presentation covering many aspects of the department. The department’s operations, Centrally Sponsored Schemes, the financial and physical advancements made under UT Capex, HRM concerns, and the department’s best practices and initiatives were all thoroughly discussed during the meeting. The secretary emphasised the need of quick DPC completion, seniority finalisation, and guaranteeing students have access to high-quality facilities. He commanded all officers and officials to respect the values of discipline, timeliness, and providing high-quality education. Additionally, he gave them instructions on how to successfully adopt new projects like the JK attendance app, Samiksha app, Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK), and PM SHRI. The directors of school education, the joint director of planning, the special secretaries of the SED, the director of finance, the project director of Samagra Shiksha, and other department administrators were present at the meeting.
