BHADERWAH: Ghulam Nabi Azad, the head of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), reaffirmed his commitment to keeping religion out of politics and to focusing only on issues of public interest. According to Azad, his employees never engage in politics that inflame social tensions, split the community, or cause division in society. “We want to make sure that we unite people in support of a peaceful, forward-thinking Jammu and Kashmir.” Since the foundation of our party is based on the same ideals, we cannot afford to engage in politics of division, he said in remarks at a workers’ conference in Bhaderwah.Politics, according to Azad, cannot prosper or benefit individuals who have a polarising and communal agenda. He added that the Chenab valley, and Bhaderwah in particular, were renowned for its camaraderie and secular principles. He emphasised that people should be grateful for this brotherhood and unity and that they should always uphold it, no matter what. He emphasised to his staff the need for meetings and public outreach, giving them instructions to organise corner meetings and inform everyone about the party’s agenda. He added that the DPAP is growing stronger every day and that “we need to reach out to the people and explain our party agenda so that more and more people are ready to join our mission.”The vice chairman of GM Saroori, the general secretary of the Prabha Salathia Mahila Wing, the president of PR Manhas Zonal, the president of Asif Gattu District, the president of PR Manhas Zonal, the spokesperson for Sunita Arora, the vice president of Javid Azad Zonal, the president of Arif Najar Block, the provincial secretary of PritamvKotwal, the general secretary of Sheikh Zaffarullah Zonal, and other people were present at the public meeting.
