DODA: The ADGP Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, awarded a Doda Police team for apprehending an internet scammer from Ajmer, Rajasthan. The team received Commendation Certificates and a monetary reward of Rs. 5,000 each. The fraudster, who lives in Jhunjhun, Rajasthan, is connected to case FIR No. 237/2023 filed at PS Doda. He defrauded a government teacher in Doda of over eleven lac rupees (11 lakh) through online means. During a function held at DPO Doda, SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom commended the police team for their excellent work and professionalism during the case investigation, as well as their efforts in apprehending the online fraudster from Ajmer, Rajasthan, and awarding them with Commendation Certificates. SI Mohd Shafi, ASI Tilak Raj, ASI Mushtaq Ahmed, and Sgct. Shakeel Ahmed were the officers who made up the team. SSP Doda congratulated them, sent her best wishes, and gave them advice on how to work harder and more devotedly in order to receive greater recognition and rewards for their future services.
