SRINAGAR, Aug 12 : Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Kashmir’s divisional commissioner, stated on Saturday that there won’t be any limitations on the eve of Independence Day in Kashmir and that all services, including the internet, will work as usual.
At a news conference held in his office space, Bidhuri stated that all preparations had been made to ensure a successful celebration of Independence Day.He also explained that due to a lack of space and the administration’s expectation of a significant increase in attendance this year, the major event’s location in Srinagar has been switched from Sk Stadium to Bakshi Stadium.
Additionally, Bidhuri invited people to the Tiranga demonstration tomorrow at 6 a.m. from the Botanical Garden and urged them to attend the major event on August 15 because no pass is required. He declared, “It is an open invitation to all.”
He claimed that all necessary security and other precautions had been taken to ensure a successful celebration of Kashmir’s 77th Independence.
