CEO SASB visits Neelgrath helipad, Sheshnag Camp, Holy Cave, inspects arrangements

SRINAGAR: CEO, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board , Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, today visited Neelgrath Helipad, Holy Cave and Sheshnag Camp to assess arrangements being put in place for ensuing 62 day long Shri Amarnathji Yatra scheduled to commence on July 1 with culmination on August 31.The CEO urged the authorities to make sure that all preparations are made for the successful and peaceful conduct of this important annual pilgrimage of Lord Shiva, the Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2023, while requesting information on the necessary amenities for the pilgrims visiting the revered Cave. Senior UT administrators and other interested parties followed Bhandari.The CEO examined the work being done by the relevant departments to make sure the pilgrims’ journey would be easy and successful while on the tour. He emphasised the importance of timely completion of all required preparations to ensure the pilgrims’ safety and comfort throughout the yatra. During his visit to Sheshnag camp, holy Cave, and the Neelgrath helipad, Bhandari conducted a thorough assessment of the infrastructure, the condition of the track, the setup of tentage facilities, toilet complexes, sanitation activities, restoration of water and electricity connections, telecom facilities, and other logistical facilities.The CEO directed the relevant divisions to make sure that pilgrims may readily obtain all required services at train stations, airports, along routes of travel, and at Yatra base camps. He persuaded the administration to build a robust infrastructure for healthcare and health emergencies with more teams of medical professionals and nursing workers. Additionally, he gave instructions on how to set up oxygen cylinders, normal ambulance service, and helicopter ambulances. He also evaluated the facilities and arrangements provided for the concerned staff members and sanitation personnel stationed at the Base Camps.
