On Sunday, hundreds of workers and leaders gathered at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to celebrate the J&K BJP's landslide victory in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. They danced to the rhythms of the drums.The event was attended by a number of notable BJP figures, including J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, former Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, former Minister Sat Sharma, general secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, general secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, former Minister Priya Sethi, former MLC S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, former MLC Vikram Randhawa, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, former MLA Neelam Langeh, former MLA Shiv Dev, Purnima Sharma, and others. Cheering the party's spectacular wins in three recently conducted elections, BJP workers burst crackers and danced to the rhythms of traditional drums. Along with shouting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "Modi ki Guarantee," and "Koi Nahi Hai Takkar Mein," they were also waving banners supporting the BJP and Modi. Speaking at the event, Ravinder Raina predicted that the BJP would win the 2024 finals by a landslide after winning the semi-finals with a fantastic display. "The pro people policies of BJP have been accepted" , he stated. He continued, "The victory is also befitting reply to Congress and INDI Alliance, as they are struggling for their survival" . Raina went on to say that the people of the entire country have come to terms with the policies of the BJP and have decided to have Modi ji again as prime minister. The people of Jammu & Kashmir support the Narendra Modi government because it is looking out for all societal segments. He went on, "The next Chief Minister of J&K will definitely come from the BJP." According to Raina, the trend of success amply demonstrates the triumph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's developmental plan and vision. He said that the BJP was elected by those who wanted peace, security, and progress. Hope Result Will Be Better For Opposition In 2024 LS Polls: Mehbooba Mufti

Srinagar, Dec 3: Mehbooba Mufti, the president of the PDP, voiced optimism on Sunday that the opposition parties will fare better in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, given that the BJP looked to be headed for victory in three of the four states that just held elections. Speaking to reporters outside of a party conference in Kupwara, almost 100 kilometres away, Mufti stated that in the Assembly elections, the opposition parties would be up against the strength of the government, which included its investigative agencies, financial clout, and the Election Commission. "I hope that the opposition does better in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls than it did in these elections," stated Mufti, the former chief minister of the state that was then known as Jammu and Kashmir."The power of the government, its agencies, money, and the Election Commission is on the one side when elections are held today," she remarked. The Election Commission released trends showing that the BJP was in the lead in 155 of the 230 Madhya Pradesh seats, 54 of the 90 Chhattisgarh seats, and 111 of the 199 Rajasthan seats. Mufti stated she had travelled to Kupwara to address the issues of the populace and declined to comment on the postponement of the elections in Jammu & Kashmir. "I had come here to hear about the people's issues and sorrows. When asked about the postponement of the polls, she responded, "We will talk about elections at a later time."She also maintained that the People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) was a powerful organisation and denied rumours of internal strife within the group. "Minor altercations do occur, but the PAGD is robust," the spokesperson stated. Assembly Poll Results | “Minorities Are Not On Agenda Of Congress Now : Azad

Srinagar, Dec 3: Ghulam Nabi Azad, the president of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), claimed on Sunday that the Congress, the state's oldest political party, is losing assembly votes because it does not include issues pertaining to minorities in its platform. Speaking to reporters after the Bharatiya Janata Party appeared to make significant progress in the assembly vote results in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, Azad claimed that the Congress has failed to address the problems that minorities face nationwide."In the past twenty to twenty-five days, I've seen that the Congress, which was supposed to be the voice of minority rights, hasn't spoken about minority issues. Minorities are no longer on Congress's agenda. Azad, stated a former Congress leader. Defending its government in Madhya Pradesh and regaining power from the Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the Bhartiya Janata Party looks to be pulling off a historic win to drive the Congress out of office in the three heartland states.The Congress party, which up until this morning had hoped to win Madhya Pradesh and hold onto Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, is currently faring worse than the BJP in all three states. The Congress, which only has one Lok Sabha seat in MP and two in Chhattisgarh, will soon come to understand that it is now a party confined to the south of the Vindhyas and has lost all leverage in the Hindi Heartland. The Congress will be extremely concerned about the loss of the three heartland states since it indicates that no one is running for office in the upcoming "Caste Census" electoral onslaught.According to the most recent data available with the Election Commission, the BJP appeared to upset the established Congress party's applecart in Chhattisgarh, leading in 55 of the 90 assembly seats while the grand old party led in 32 seats. According to the most recent data available from the Election Commission, the Congress was leading in 67 seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the BJP was leading in 161 of the state's 230 seats. In Rajasthan, the BJP's candidates had taken 111 seats, while the Congress had 73 seats more. This marked the halfway point of the campaign. Telangana, which is about to establish an independent government, has provided the Congress with the lone glimmer of hope.By surpassing the halfway point, the Congress party in Telangana is poised to overthrow the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), led by Chandrasekhar Rao and in power since Telangana's statehood in 2014. DGP reviews welfare measures for families of fallen policemen

JAMMU: DGP R R Swain of Jammu and Kashmir presided over a meeting on Saturday to discuss welfare options for the families of police officers who gave their life in the battle against terrorism. In addition to reviving the services devoted to the welfare of these families, he gave the officers instructions to pool their "hearts and souls" in order to identify any issues or problems that the families of the fallen policemen may be facing and submit them to police headquarters within a certain amount of time. "The families of the deceased heroes are members of the J&K Police pariwar, or family, and it is our responsibility to look after them in every way. Seeing how these families are doing has to be our top priority, according to Swain.He gave the ADGP instructions to dispatch sympathetic personnel to engage with the families. In order to foster an emotional connection between the families and the police, he also advised that each officer adopt a family. This will enable the officers to care for the wards of the fallen policeman in an understanding manner. "It is not the help and assistance that matters but connecting with these families including the parents of the fallen heroes is more important," he stated. He gave the officers instructions to make a personal connection with every member of the martyr families and to give them the same amount of time as "we spend with our own family members."He stated, "such families should be assured that the institutional strength of J&K Police is with them." The officers must also discover some inspirational stories of the departed heroes to share with the family members. According to a police spokesman, talks were place over a scheme that would see DSPs and inspectors paying visits to martyrs' families to inquire about their well-being. "This will supplement the assistance that these families now receive. The spokesman stated, "The officers made a number of recommendations, which were highlighted and instructions were provided for their implementation.   [caption id="attachment_6616" align="alignnone" width="300"] DGP reviews welfare measures for families of fallen policemen[/caption]

Crime branch chargesheets 3 brothers for ₹43-lac land fraud in Jammu

JAMMU: Three brothers are accused in a ₹43 lakh land scam in a 253-page chargesheet released by the Crime Branch's economic crimes unit on Saturday. According to an official spokesperson, they were accused of forming a criminal conspiracy and robbing a guy from Gandhi Nagar of ₹43 lakh. A case under sections 420 (cheating) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code was filed against them at the Crime Branch police station in Jammu. Manmohan Singh, the complainant, was tricked into signing a contract to sell the accused's 51 marlas in Birpur, the Bari Brahmana neighbourhood of Samba.Following the transaction, the complainant's special power of attorney was revoked by Birpur village residents Narayan Singh, Suram Singh, and Chain Singh. The plaintiff had been duped by the siblings into believing that the government would receive a substantial payment for the land it was acquiring. The complainant was persuaded to pay each of the accused ₹17 lakh by the accused. All defendants executed a selling agreement and a special power of attorney in December 2021. The accused then went to the Jammu collector of land acquisition and informed him that the complainant's special power of attorney had been revoked and that the accused would get the money into their accounts from the collector. No dilution in reservation of Gujjars, Bakerwals in J&K: BJP

JAMMU: In an effort to allay concerns, the BJP has reaffirmed its commitment to the ST community's reservations and stated unequivocally that the Gujjar community's reservations in Jammu and Kashmir will not be diminished. At a news conference held here on Saturday, Gulam Ali Khatana, a senior BJP leader and MP for the Rajya Sabha, made this declaration.Speaking to media representatives, Khatana was accompanied by former Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, former MP Choudhary Talib Hussain, BJP general secretary Sunil Sharma, BJP senior leader Devinder Singh Rana, president of the ST Morcha Ch. Roshan Hussain, and senior ST leader Arshad Choudhary. They stated that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had promised a tribal community delegation that the 10% reservation they had been granted would not be reduced under any circumstances. According to Khatana, the J&K BJP is also in support of the Modi government's promise. The MP claimed that the ST community in Jammu and Kashmir endured decades of suffering under the leadership of the PDP, the NC, and the Congress, and that the Narendra Modi government was the only one to bring them justice.This government made a historic choice by granting this section reservation in order to improve its socioeconomic status. He recalled that in 2013, during the Lalkar rally in Jammu, Narendra Modi had made a public declaration that, upon assuming power, his government will provide justice to the marginalised and discriminated-against groups, with particular attention to the Scheduled Tribes. According to Khatana, several groups are attempting to deceive the STs into believing they won't profit from reservations, which is completely untrue and unfounded. He stated that there is no chance of the reservation being diluted and that the BJP will continue to look out for the interests of the Scheduled Tribes. As the STs are switching their allegiance to the BJP after realising that it is the only political party that genuinely cares about their right to a dignified life, he urged them to trust the BJP and not fall for the false propaganda spread by such political parties. These parties had been taking this community for granted and were now feeling insecure. Ch. Talib Hussain reaffirmed that the BJP will keep working for the advancement and well-being of all racial and ethnic groups in Jammu and Kashmir, with a special emphasis on tribal people and other marginalised ethnic groups. He urged the Paharis and Gujjars of Jammu and Kashmir to fortify their long-standing solidarity, togetherness, and peaceful coexistence. The Rajouri police and soldiers carried out the operation based on particular intelligence about suspicious movement.
