KISHTWAR: Since about 1,67,000 devotees of Goddess Chandi have shown homage at the holy temple, a heavy flow of worshippers has continued during the annual Machail Yatra. According to sources, 3 saints, 517 children, 1941 men, 982 women, and 3443 pilgrims paid homage to the Goddess today. This year’s pilgrimage has received an unexpected influx of visitors, and it is anticipated that it will surpass 2 lakh before its conclusion on September 5. The Yatra began on July 25 and saw a dramatic rise in pilgrims starting in the first week of August. This trend is still going strong today. According to reports, there are still a lot of pilgrims on the waiting list despite the fact that helicopter service providers from Gulabgarh to Machail have received advance bookings for the upcoming days.
