New Delhi, Jan 29: In advance of the Budget session, the Government has scheduled a meeting of the floor leaders of the various parties in Parliament on Tuesday. Prior to each session, it is normal for leaders of various parties to highlight the problems they wish to bring up in Parliament. The administration then provides them with an advance look at its agenda and requests their assistance. This time, the session will only last from January 31 to February 9, and in advance of the Lok Sabha elections, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is expected to present an interim budget. The complete budget will be presented by the incoming administration. The speech by President Droupadi Murmu will open the session.
