Jammu, Jan 5: In the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Village Defence Guard (VDG) was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances on Friday, having been shot. According to the police, Balwant Singh, a VDG who lived in Kharangal, Gandoh, was found dead inexplicably. Also discovered there, according to the police, was his.303 rifle. They claimed that while the case was being filed and the investigation was underway, his body was moved to the hospital.(Agencies)
