BANDIPORA: In order to evaluate and improve the security measures, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone VK Birdi-IPS conducted a security review meeting on Saturday in the district of Bandipora, North Kashmir. DIG NKR Baramulla Vivek Gupta, IPS, SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma, IPS, Additional SP Bandipora Sandeep Bhat, JKPS, and other district officers were present at the security meeting. In addition to looking into cutting-edge technologies to enhance current security infrastructure and reaction capabilities, IGP Kashmir, who presided over the meeting, emphasised the importance of enhancing cooperation between various law enforcement agencies for smooth information exchange and coordinated operations. In addition to urging the officers to take tough measures against any individual or group that supports anti-national actions, he emphasised the need for them to concentrate more on human intelligence in addition to technical inputs in order to identify the hostile forces.Additionally, he emphasised to the cops the need to monitor the situation closely and spot anyone with malicious intent who might be out to disrupt the calm and peaceful environment. VK Birdi outlined the strategy for tackling the drug problem, emphasising that law enforcement organisations are dedicated to stepping up operations and implementing cutting-edge methods to break up drug networks. In order to provide relief to the public, IGP Kashmir has directed that open cases and public complaints be resolved. They have also asked that cases that have been assigned to them for investigation be handled quickly. The IGP reassured the public that efforts to improve security measures will continue, while reiterating the need of community involvement in upholding vigilance. In order to maintain the highest standards of public safety, he briefed the cops and asked them to act impartially and sternly against any law violations.
