Lucknow, Oct 28: In the wake of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed confidence on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will easily win a clear majority and seek a third term in office. During a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency in Lucknow, Singh told reporters, “The faith of the people of the entire country is with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is not just me but several political observers have also accepted this fact that he is coming back with a clear majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.”In response to a query about the opposition bloc INDIA’s potential threat in the next elections, he made this statement. “The entire world knows, and I believe, that the Ram of Maharishi Valmiki was not just a king but a lok nayak…yug purush and an incarnation,” Singh stated, honouring Maharishi Valmiki on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti. “Every Bharatvasi, wherever they may be in the world, see Ram as Maryada Purushottam, as depicted in the Ramayana by Maharishi Valmiki,” he declared. Additionally, he greeted everyone on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti.
