JAMMU: Following the successful conclusion of the 118th annual Session of the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry today reappointed Rahul Sahai and A P Vicky Shaw as Chairman for the Jammu and Kashmir areas. The honourable Sanjeev Agarwal, National President of PHDCCI, made the choice and expressed his belief in their capacity to lead the Chamber and forward its goals. Rahul Sahai, the second generation chief executive of the Sahai Group of Companies and the late Ram Sahai’s son, has more than 25 years of expertise in policy advocacy and human resources management. He also serves as the president of the Transport Nagar Association of Jammu. He has spent approximately 30 years working closely with PHDCCI. He has also served as the head of various organisations in J&K and as chairman of the CII J&K Council. Rahul Sahai and A P Vicky Shaw expressed their appreciation to Central Leadership Sanjeev Aggarwal for reappointing them and having faith in their capacity to lead the Chamber. They emphasised their dedication to advancing the business community of J&K and fostering regional economic development. From the Shaw business dynasty in J&K, A P Vicky Shaw, a renowned professional golfer and significant player in the hospitality and handicraft industries, brings a lot of knowledge and expertise to his position. Shaw has a history in the hospitality sector and has shown excellent leadership skills as well as a profound awareness of the requirements and difficulties faced by businesses in J&K. Vicky Shaw is notable for having previously held the position of President of the Professional Golfers Association of India, underscoring his dedication to both the corporate and athletic areas. As a result of his commitment and love for the community, he has become a recognised Rotarian and received the renowned Paul Harris fellowship in recognition of his remarkable efforts. Rahul Sahai and Vicky Shaw will continue to put in endless effort as chairman to promote cooperation, provide networking opportunities, and champion the requirements of regional businesses.Their combined vision and commitment to the PHD Chamber’s goals are expected to further strengthen J&K’s standing as a vibrant centre of business and industry.
