JAMMU: In a significant breakthrough, Jammu GRP has arrested a major drug kingpin, Dinesh Kumar, from Bihar in connection with FIR No. 23/2025 registered under sections 08/20/29/27-A of the NDPS Act at PS GRP Jammu.
Dinesh Kumar, son of Janak Raj Yadu, resident of Ward No. 5, Rampur Shamchand, Vaishali, Bihar, was involved in a conspiracy to smuggle ganja from Bihar to Jammu along with the primary accused in the case. Authorities collected substantial evidence during the investigation, which led to his arrest.
It is noteworthy that Dinesh Kumar also faces charges under FIR No. 231/2018, registered at PS Bahu Fort, Jammu, under sections 08/20 NDPS Act. The court has rejected his bail thrice. GRP Jammu successfully gathered all relevant evidence through scientific methods and presented it before the court, resulting in his apprehension.
