SRINAGAR: A Srinagar municipal corporator was detained on Saturday after being accused of harassing a woman online and harassing her modesty, according to the police. Aqib Ahmed Renzu, a corporator for the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), was detained as a result of “strong technical evidence” that the victim presented. The Nishat neighbourhood of the city is home to Renzu. Aqib Ahmed Renzu, an SMC corporator from Nishat Srinagar, was detained for online stalking, outraging modesty, and sexual harassment. The brave victim supplied solid technological evidence in this case, according to Srinagar Police’s post on X. At the RM Bagh police station, a case against Renzu has been filed under several legal laws.
