UDHAMPUR: Udhampur Police attached properties worth crores of rupees of a notorious drug peddler, namely Nadeem Sambyal, son of Mohd Sharif of Chenani. The attached properties include a 3- BHK Flat at Mohali, Punjab and three trucks, bearing registration number JK14J-1718, JK14J-0018, JK14J-0618 belonging to the said drug peddler, under Section 68-F(2) of the NDPS Act 1985. The properties were identified as illegally acquired property during the course of an investigation carried out by SDPO Chenani Sheikh Tahir Amin , SHO Chenani Insp Jaswinder Singh and PSI Ravinder. The properties were found to be acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances by the owner, who is presently under judicial custody in case FIR No. 167/2023 under sections 8/15/25/29 of the NDPS Act, and lodged at District Jail Udhampur.
