JAMMU, Sept 22: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially welcomed Ankur Sharma, National President of the Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal (ESBD), into its ranks. Along with other party leaders, BJP National President JP Nadda welcomed him into the party. Sat Sharma, the Working President of the party, was also present. Nadda underlined during the function that Sharma’s appointment is a positive development for Jammu and Kashmir and that it will strengthen the BJP’s commitment to the welfare, growth, and peace of the area. Sharma was hailed by him as a nationalist who was committed to the cause of J&K.Sat Sharma concurred, characterising Sharma as a real leader with deep ties to the community. Sharma said, “We have no doubt that he will carry on his admirable work for the welfare of society and further strengthen the party.”
