KISHTWAR : On Sunday, Mudassir Hussain’s family raised the national flag at their residence in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir, joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s push to do so in advance of Independence Day. Hussain was a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist. Tariq, Hussain’s father, told reporters in the isolated Dachhan region of the hills district that “my son has taken the wrong path” and added, “We request the government to find him.” He declared, “We raised the national flag on our house and urge every household to do the same.” Hussain’s mother declared that she wanted her son to come back and hand himself in to the security personnel. “We made every effort to locate him but were unsuccessful.We want him to come back, so the Army should find him for us,” she continued. According to police, Hussain, one of the most sought-after terrorists in the Union territory, has a Rs 20 lakh bounty on his head. The country’s citizens were urged by Prime Minister Modi on Friday to participate in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” programme from August 13 to August 15.
