POONCH: A Defence official said Two terrorist were gunned down as security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the general area of Degwar Terwan in Poonch.”The joint teams of the Indian Army and J&K Police engaged two terrorists. The second terrorist attempted to retreat but was hit and saw falling down close to the line of control as the first terrorist collapsed right away. Operation is under progress, according to PRO (Defence) Jammu Lt Col Suneel Bartwal. Officials claim that the encounter was made via ambush at around 2:00 in the morning in Poonch’s Garhi Battalion. Within a few miles of Degwar Terva, two people were seen crossing the LoC. According to police, a terrorist was killed in an encounter while attempting to cross the Line of Control in the Tangdhar Sector’s Amrohi sector. “In a joint operation, the army and the Kupwara police stopped an attempt at infiltration by neutralising a terrorist on the Line of Control in the Amrohi area of Tangdhar Sector. Arms, ammunition, and incriminating materials were found, according to a tweet by Kashmir Zone Police.
