SRINAGAR, Aug 6 : Around 9 a.m. on Sunday, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway resumed normal traffic, according to the police.
In this regard, the Jammu Kashmir Police‘s official media account tweeted, “Traffic update at 0900 hours.” Jammu-Srinagar NHW traffic has been resumed.
A landslip in the Ramban area earlier today interrupted the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
People should stay away from the highway until the stretch’s repair work is finished, according to a police advisory.Earlier on July 19th, mudslides and flying stones caused the National Highway-44 in the Ramban region to become closed.
“Mud slush and flying stones have obstructed NH-44 in certain areas. “Until road clearance works are completed, people are advised to avoid travelling,” tweeted Deputy Commissioner Ramban.
