Approx 24000 pilgrims perform darshan at Machail Mata Temple

KISHTWAR : Up till Friday night, almost 24 thousand pilgrims had their “darshan” at holy darbar of Mata Chandi at Machail till Friday evening.The annual Machail Yatra, which started on July 25th, has picked up steam; as of today evening, almost 24 thousand pilgrims have received darshan. A total of 4261 pilgrims, including 1688 women and 547 children, visited the Machail Temple today, according to DC Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav.Along with those arriving from Jammu and Kashmir, other sections of the country have also had darshan from devotees. Special needs woman Jyoti from Madhya Pradesh was one among those devotees who travelled to Mata Machail darbar and performed darshan, setting an example for others. She expressed her gratitude for being a part of this holy yatra during her experience and expressed hope that she would participate in future ones. Meanwhile, thousands of pilgrims are travelling, and they appear to be quite impressed by the upgraded housing, transportation, medical, electrical, mobile service, lavatory, and security grid services.On the other hand, langer service is still being provided at various sites, and it is anticipated that as the days go by, the number of pilgrims will rise.
