JAMMU: A Pakistani intruder was shot dead by BSF personnel along the IB in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday in second such incident in a week, officials said.The intruder, who managed to cross the border fence near Jabowal border outpost in Arnia sector about 1.45 am, was shot dead by the vigilant border guards after he disregarded their numerous warnings and tried to leave, according to reports. According to a BSF spokesman who confirmed the event, “In the intervening night of July 30-July 31 July, the alert forces detected unusual movement over the International Border (IB) in Arnia border area.The BSF fence was approached by an intruder, who was neutralised and an attempt at infiltration was prevented by the troops, the official added. The area was quickly blocked off following the event, and a search operation is still under way, according to the officials, who also stated that the body is being removed from the scene. The Border Security Force (BSF) shot and killed a Pakistani infiltrator carrying over four kilograms of high-grade heroin on July 25 in the Ramgarh sector of the Samba district.
