BENGALURU: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah received a courtesy call from Dr. Farooq Abdullah, the president of the National Conference (NC) and a member of parliament from Srinagar. Dr. Farooq Abdullah was escorted by NC chief spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq during the visit. They made small talk and talked about a range of issues that were important to both the country and the area. Dr. Abdullah gave Karnataka CM a famous Paper-machie Samovar memento, which is said to be a sign of love from the Jammu and Kashmiri people.He asked the Chief Minister to make sure that everyone from J&K who lives, works, or conducts business in Karnataka is safe and secure. He also praised the Karnataka government’s continuous efforts to advance the welfare and advancement of the state’s minority population and other underprivileged groups. Dr Farooq previously spoke with DK Shivakumar, the Karnataka deputy chief minister, about matters pertaining to both local and national politics. Dr. Farooq gave him a keepsake from Paper Machie Samovar.
