3 Coaches Of Charminar Express Derail At Hyderabad Station, 6 Injured

Hyderabad, Jan 10: Three coaches of the Chennai-Hyderabad Charminar Express derailed at the Hyderabad Deccan Railway station in Nampally on Wednesday morning, injuring six people with minor injuries, according to senior Railway authorities. The train’s ultimate destination is the Deccan railway station in Hyderabad. Three coaches—S2, S3, and S6—were derailled when the train, according to South Central Railway (SCR) officials, arrived at the station travelling slowly and overshot the last point. Six passengers were hurt as result of this derailment, the officials said. SCR representative added that the injured passengers are receiving care at nearby hospital. The train had left Chennai on Tuesday evening and arrived in Hyderabad. The official said that an investigation will be carried out to determine what caused the occurrence.
