SRINAGAR, Aug 10 : According to police, a grenade explosion on Thursday in the Anantnag region of Jammu and Kashmir injured four people, two of them were security personnel. According to them, the explosion happened during a search and cordon operation in the Kokernag neighbourhood of the south Kashmir district.
Two members of the security forces and several civilians were hurt; they were taken to the hospital, where their conditions were described as stable, according to the officials. According to them, a search operation is being conducted in the region.
