JUL 22, 2024 : Some YouTube users are facing issues. Reports are coming in about issues with the YouTube app, website, and trouble uploading videos.
The reports of issues have spiked on the DownDetector app since 1.30 PM on Monday, and the reports reached its peak at 3.15 PM. As per the website, 43 per cent users who reported an issue were facing a problem with the app, 33 per cent face trouble uploading a video, and 23 per cent had issues with the YouTube website.
Currently, it is unknown what the issue is. There are no reports on the YouTube support page or on its social media channels. This is most likely a tiny glitch that should be resolved very soon.
Some users on YouTube have been tweeting about issues with videos on their feed. One video said that “uploaded videos are not showing in feed (sic)”, while another said that “it’s [YouTube] not uploading videos”.
Having said that, looking at posts on X too, the issue does not seem to be widespread. It seems to be affecting a small group of people.
