Want To Eradicate Poverty, Unemployment From J&K : Ghulam Nabi Azad

ANANTNAG, Aug. 20: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) leader Ghulam Nabi Azad stated on Sunday that if his party were to take power in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, he would try to end unemployment and poverty there. Azad stated that while he cannot guarantee employment for all educated individuals, he will offer chances for them to make living. “Unemployment and poverty have risen. wish to alter that. At public event in the Dooru neighbourhood of the Anantnag district, the former chief minister stated, “I also want to propose the law that will give land back to landless people. There are three different categories of unemployed people: educated, skilled, and unskilled. They are all hunting for employment. We’ll develop opportunities for employment. I’m not offering jobs to everyone with a degree since it would leave no money for projects like development, healthcare, and social welfare, he continued.
Azad said that between 2005 and 2008, while serving as chief minister of J-K, he created a tulip garden that is now frequented by tens of thousands of tourists.
“I have a lot more plans that will provide each district three to four new tourist attractions. These plans were ready in 2008, and I had planned to announce them then, but I was unable to. I still have those plans, and I’ll carry them out.The unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir will go down as a result, he predicted.
Azad said that as the head of the government, he had implemented the triple shift system of work.
“Work would continue around-the-clock, and both skilled and unskilled workers would have employment all year round. It also aided in the completion of the construction projects more quickly, he claimed, adding that the practise was discontinued the day he left his position as chief minister.
