SRINAGAR, July 17: An official said that a traffic cop was among 3 persons killed in a road accident at Maloora Shalteng area of Srinagar. A three-wheeler and a car were struck by a tipper driver who lost control of his vehicle this afternoon near the Petrol Pump Maloora, killing three people, including a traffic police officer, according to a traffic police control room official.
Other people who were hurt in the incident have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to the official, Zahoor Ahmad Khan, a resident of Pattan Baramulla, was the deceased police officer who was on duty and travelling on the road when the tragedy occurred.
