Three Boys Feared Drowned in Tawi River; Massive Search Operation Underway

JAMMU: Three boys are feared to have drowned in the Tawi River near Sainik School Nagrota, triggering a large-scale search operation by police and rescue teams.

The missing boys have been identified as Sonam Dutt, son of Sunny Dutt; Bavish Koul, son of Manohar Nath Koul; and Aditya Pandit, son of Shahji Pandit. All three are residents of Jagti Migrant Colony.

According to officials, the boys were playing in a park near their colony around 4:30 PM when they suddenly went missing. Concerned family members raised an alarm after they failed to locate them.

Police teams were immediately dispatched to the area, and during the initial investigation, it was suspected that the boys had entered the river near Sainik School, Nagrota.

Rescue teams, including personnel from the National Disaster Response Force, were deployed, and search operations were ongoing at the time of filing this report.
