SRINAGAR: The Indian Army said in a statement that alert security forces had stopped an attempt at infiltration in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir along the Line of Control (LoC), killing one terrorist on Wednesday. Officials said that the terrorists were trying to sneak in by taking advantage of the bad weather and low visibility. The officials said that the operation is in progress.
