SRINAGAR, Oct 21: In the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, sniper fire from the Pakistani side wounded a soldier, according to officials on Saturday. The event happened late on Friday night in the Keran sector. On Friday night, the Pakistani Army opened fire with a sniper round at an Indian army station in the Keran area. In this incident, Soldier Saurav Kumar sustained injuries. For expert care, he was evacuated to the army’s 92-base hospital in Srinagar. The officials said, “Doctors have determined that the soldier’s condition is stable and out of danger.”
