AYODHYA: The ‘Shri Ram Charan Paduka Yatra’ is scheduled to depart from Chitrakoot on January 15, coinciding with the preparations for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Yatra will begin at Bharatkup, Chitrakoot, travel via Prayagraj, and end in Ayodhya. This coming January 22, the Ram Temple will have its ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event. Beginning one week prior to the major celebration on January 16, Vedic rites will be performed for Ram Lalla’s Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct ceremonies to commemorate the pran prathishta of the Ram Lalla statue at the magnificent temple. On January 22, a group of priests under the direction of Lakshmikant Dixit will carry out the principal rites of Ram Lalla’s pran prathistha. Ayodhya will host the Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to January 22. In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, a number of tent towns are being built to house pilgrims who are anticipated to arrive for the significant ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual.
