JAMMU: The BJP SC Morcha president and former MLA Neelam Langeh arranged an amazing, well-attended event at the party headquarters where the leaders of the party celebrated the great saint’s Prakash Utsav and highlighted different facets of his life. The BJP State President Ravinder Raina, General Secretary (organisation) Ashok Koul, General Secretary & former minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary & former MLC Vibodh Gupta, SC Morcha President & former MLA Neelam Langeh, Morcha General Secretary Adrash Jathiar, and other leaders lit lamps and laid wreaths at the portrait of Guru Ravi Dass to start the function.Speaking to the large crowd on this special occasion, Ravinder Raina stated that India, or Bharat, has long been regarded as a country with a rich cultural legacy, high religious standards, and honourable customs. Numerous spiritual and religious saints were born on this country; Guru Ravi Dass was one of them, and he was held in the highest regard by the society of his day. He claimed that while Guru Ravi Dass was raised in a low-income household and endured hardships, crimes, and insults, he remained true to his bhakti path and became known as Sant Shiromani. He claimed that inspiration and discipline abound in Guru Ji’s life.Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, a former minister and general secretary of the BJP, stated that it is the community’s duty to spread Guru Ravi Dass’s teachings and message to unite against social problems and rise above them in order to live a life of dignity and respect. He placed a strong emphasis on teaching the kids in the homes and inspiring them to get an education in order to become devout citizens. Neelam Langeh, a former MLA and president of the SC Morcha, stated that Guru Ravi Dass made significant contributions to the social service field in the role of a “Guru,” someone who bridges the gap between the people and God. He claimed that because of the great saint’s spiritual orientation and his fervour for eradicating caste-based societal structures and establishing an inclusive society, he had become an institution in and of himself. He remarked that in striving for social equality, the BJP SC Morcha is also pursuing the same goals of Guru Ravi Dass. He requested that the Morcha activists coordinate their efforts for the community’s welfare and betterment by informing them about the positive changes in their socioeconomic situation brought about by the Modi government’s beneficial initiatives.Additionally, former VC Balbir Ram Rattan gave a welcome note, Morcha Seh Prabhari Jeet Angral presented a vote of gratitude, and Morcha Vice-President B.R. Rao directed the proceedings. Former MLAs Kuldeep Kumar, Dr. Krishan Lal, and Prof. Gharu Ram also addressed the group.
