Search continues for second day to find four persons missing in Drass river

KARGIL: officials said, A massive search operation continues for second day on Sunday to trace out the four persons who went missing after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near Kaksar area of Drass in Kargil district late Friday evening.They said that on Friday evening, the driver of a car with the licence plate JK16B-2015 travelling from Drass to Kargil lost control of it and it slid into the Shingo River at Kaksar, around 22 kilometres from Kargil. Police, NDRF, and other rescue teams flocked to the accident site as soon as the news of it spread, and one body was pulled from the water. Mushtaq Ahmad, a Sumbal Kangan native, was named as the man. While four other people vanished. They are allegedly Doda locals who are employed as labour.
