UDHAMPUR: Saloni Rai replaced Sachin Kumar Vaishya as the new Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur today. Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Additional Deputy Commissioner; Shishir Gupta, SDM Ramnagar; Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Assistant Commissioner Revenue; Rushal Garg, DFO; Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, Chief Planning Officer; Gurdev Kumar, Deputy District Election Officer; Darshan Kumar; Jai Singh, Tehsildar; and other officers and officials were present. She interacted with District Administration officers after taking over as Deputy Commissioner.The District Administration’s senior executives gave a brief description and overview of the main programmes being implemented in the district during the interaction. The DC urged the officers to take a coordinated approach to achieving the development targets set in accordance with the government’s priority areas with a mission to swiftly answer public complaints. The Deputy Commissioner emphasised to all of the officials the need to make sure that all public services are transparent, timely, and hassle-free. She emphasised to the police that they must work hard and honestly to address the legitimate complaints of the district’s residents.
