JAMMU: Officials from the Revenue Department, led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Piyush Dhotra, and Tehsildar Nagrota, Babu Ram Choudhary, along with Tehsildar Jammu Development Authority, Ranjt Singh, conducted an anti-encroachment drive today to reclaim state land measuring 2 kanal in village Nagrota under the direction of District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya of Jammu. One Somnath Sapru illegally occupied the encroached land, designated as khasra number 851, and built a wall around it as well as a large gate. It has been discovered that the intruder has a history of doing such things, and on this occasion, officials harshly warned him against doing similar offences again. In the upcoming days, the district administration will implement tough measures against encroachments and corruption throughout the district.
