JAMMU: DC Jammu Avny Lavasa distributed 10 motorised tricycles/ scooties in presence of DDC Chairman, Jammu, Bharat Bhushan at district headquarters.The district administration, according to the Deputy Commissioner, is taking the required efforts to safeguard the welfare of people with disabilities. By giving them three-wheeled scooties, the goal is to enable them to live in society with honour and dignity. The goal of this distribution effort is to increase the independence of people with disabilities. She met with the recipients and praised the Social Welfare agency’s efforts to promote the socioeconomic welfare of various segments of the community. She also praised the agency for planning the motorised tricycle distribution camp. Along with representatives from the Social Welfare Department and the district administration, Mamta Rajput, the District Social Welfare Officer, and Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Jammu were present.
