JAMMU: The true problem facing the educational system, according to Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, is to encourage study outside of the classroom and instill life skills. In order to close the learning gaps, Sinha also urged educators and educational establishments to embrace best practises that are in line with the National Education Policy. “My advice to our young is to never give up on your aspirations. At a celebration held at a private school here, Sinha stated, “Discover what you really love doing, strive continuously to achieve new goals, reflect on your greatest passion and never ever stop believing in yourself.”The Lieutenant Governor stated that there was a shift occurring in the field of education and underlined the necessity of reimagining the ideas of classroom instruction. “School is the birthplace of tomorrow’s leaders, a hub for character development and innovation, and a vital tool for bolstering our society’s value system. The true issue facing our educational system now is to transmit life skills and encourage study outside of the classroom, the speaker stated. According to Sinha, the NEP has opened up a plethora of opportunities to improve education and establish an atmosphere that encourages young children’s learning by developing their critical thinking, creativity, originality, and curiosity.
