KATHUA: Ravinder Raina, President, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, slammed NC, Congress, and PDP for their total failure in the development of far-flung areas, while addressing a massive roadshow at Bani. Ravinder Raina was accompanied by former MLA Jewan Lal, District President Darshan Singh Thakkar, DDC Chairman Kathua Col. Mahan Singh, DDC Reeta Devi, BDC Neelam Rani, Mandal President Brij Mohan, Mandal President Dhani Ram, Mahila Morcha District President Renu Devi and other senior leaders of the party. While conducting the mega-road show in Bani town, Raina also interacted with the enthusiastic people, who were raising slogans like “Ek Bar Phir Modi Sarkar” and “Ab ki Bar 400 Par”. “There is a clear wave in Jammu and Kashmir in favour of BJP and this confirms that people of the UT have endorsed the policies and programmes of Modi Government initiated for the development and the welfare of the poor and needy”, Raina said, while addressing the people at Sheetal Nagar. Ravinder Raina said that during the rule of NC, Congress and PDP, it was difficult to come to this far-flung pahari area, due to the extremely poor condition of roads but under BJP’s rule, the things have changed and many projects of road, highway and rail connectivity in the UT have been initiated and completed. Now the transportation the goods and the movement of people have become easier in all the villages, in the hilly and in the border areas, which has made the lives of people easier. He said that many schemes for youth, farmers and womenfolk, have been launched and added that schemes like “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujwala Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Ayushman Card Yojana and Ujala Yojana, have played an important role in the development of every section of the society on the lines of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, Sabka Vishwas”. Raina targeted the previous governments led by NC, Congress, and PDP for their absolute failure in the development of far-flung areas and said the leaders of these parties remained confined to certain areas for their political gains and utterly ignored the other areas and the communities. Now, the Modi Government has opened the floodgates of development in Jammu and Kashmir and undid all the past wrongs with the numerous communities, especially after the abrogation of 370 and 35A. Others who also took part in the roadshow included senior leaders Thakur Roop Singh, Milkhi Ram, Mansa Ram, Moti Ram, Barkat Ali, Roshan Lal, and Thakur Das.
