NOIDA: According to sources on Friday, the Noida Police has not only booked Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav in the case but also detained five individuals for allegedly using snake venom at a rave party. The arrestees had set a trap, set by the animal rights organisation People for Animals (PFA), at a banquet hall in Sector 51 on Thursday night for a party. Nine snakes were also freed from their custody, according to the officials. An FIR was filed for criminal conspiracy and under the Wildlife (Protection) Act after Yadav and six other individuals were accused by PFA of partying at a banquet facility in Sector 51 where snake venom was provided, according to police.According to a police spokesperson, “nine snakes were rescued from their possession and five people were arrested from the banquet hall.” The people detained have been identified as Rahul (32), Teetunath (45), Jaikaran (50), Narayan (50), and Ravinath (45), all of whom live in the village of Moharband in the Badarpur neighbourhood of southeast Delhi, according to police. Complainant Gaurav Gupta of the PFA, which is led by BJP lawmaker Maneka Gandhi, stated in the FIR that his organisation learned that Yadav, a YouTuber, used to host illegal rave parties and film live snakes and snake venom in Noida and other parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) with his friends. Yadav, another Bigg Boss reality show champion, was not immediately reachable for comment.
