PUNE: Mohan Bhagwat, the president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), referred to the consecration of Ram Lalla’s idol at the Ayodhya temple on January 22 as a brave act that was made possible by God’s will and blessings on Monday. Speaking at the Gita Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav at Alandi, in the Pune region of Maharashtra, Bhagwat added that Bharat must rise to its responsibilities and that the world will face destruction very soon if it does not become “samarth” (able). After much fighting, he said that “Ram Lalla arrived on January 22″ and that it was a brave deed.“It is a blessing for the present generation to have Ram Lalla in his place. It’s actually happened, he remarked, not only because everyone worked for it but also because of God’s blessings and desire. Bhagwat added that he felt lucky to be there for the ceremony. He asserted that Bharatvarsh must ascend since the world requires it. “The world will have to confront destruction very soon if Bharat fails to develop or become capable. This is the typical state of affairs. Global intellectuals are aware of this. On this, they are writing and saying,” he remarked. Bhagwat continued, “Bharat has to rise to deliver its duty.” Spiritual leader Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj is celebrating his 75th birthday with a major event known as the Gita Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav, which is organised by Geeta Pariwar.
