JAMMU: The auspicious opening of the Shree Sunderkand Path at the Shree Raghunathji Temple, located here today, marked the start of the three-day magnificent celebrations honouring the consecration event of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Saturday. Pt. Sat Pal Raina, a priest at Shree Raghunathji Temple, recited lines from the Shree Sunderkand Path at the event. People from all walks of life flocked to the Temple to ask for Shree Raghunath’s blessings. The profound lines reverberated with the spiritual ambience, creating an environment of reverence and devotion. Ajatshatru Singh, a former minister and trustee of the J&K Dharmarth Trust, attended the event with Dr. Ritu Singh.On this historic occasion, they greeted the public as well as devotees who were visiting the Temple. Ajatshatru Singh highlighted the historical significance of the Ram Temple’s dedication and called it a historic event for the nation’s citizens. Manish Sahni, the president of Shiv Sena J&K, was the chief guest at the function. He praised the J&K Dharmarth Trust for their efforts in planning elaborate festivities on this historic day and expressed gratitude for their commitment to conserving and honouring cultural heritage. Ajatshatru Singh gave a briefing about the celebrations’ planned events. She said that on January 21, the Akhand Paath of Shri Ram Charitmanas will begin, and that that afternoon, at 3 PM, the Temple premises will host a Bhajan Sandhaya with live performances by well-known singers, such as Sonali Dogra, and folk artists. He stated that the Bhog of Akhand Paath of Shri Ram Charitmanas, Bhajan Kirtan, live performances by well-known singers and folk performers, and Dogri Dham for the visiting devotees will all be a part of the consecration celebration at Shree Raghunathji Temple on January 22. There was also SSP Ashok Sharma, the retired secretary, and Brig RS Langeh, the head of the trust. The Secretary announced that to commemorate this momentous occasion, the Dharmarth Trust, under the direction of Chairman Trustee Dr. Karan Singh, Vikramaditya Singh, Ajatshatru Singh, Dr. Ritu Singh, Ranvijay Singh, and Martand Singh, had painstakingly planned lavish events inside the Temple grounds.
