CHANDIGARH: An operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang was detained by the Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) on Wednesday. The operative and other members of the gang were allegedly plotting to attack targets that their international supervisors had assigned them. Twelve live rounds and four firearms were also found in the accused’s possession by the police. “A significant development has occurred with the arrest of Sachin @ Bacchi, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi & Goldy Brar gang, by AGTF-Punjab.The accused was involved in giving the gang members’ hideouts and logistical support,” Punjab’s Director General of Police, Gaurav Yadav, wrote on X. “Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused along with other members of the gang were planning to attack the assigned targets given to them by their foreign handlers,” said DGP Yadav.
