VARANASI:Following the Varanasi Court’s permission allowing Hindu devotees to worship within the Gyanvapi mosque complex, the mosque’s Vyas Ka Tehkhana (basement) barricades were opened, and early on Thursday morning, daily arti and puja were conducted. Vishnu Shankar Jain states that Mangla Arti, the Hindu side’s counsel, was conducted at 3:30 in the morning, and Bhog was completed at 12 noon. “Aarti timings at Vyas cellar. Mangla (3:30 am), Bhog (12 pm), Apranh (4 pm), Sanykaal (7 pm), and Shayan (10 pm) are the daily five aartis. 2 completed thus far,” Jain wrote on X. Within the next seven days, the district administration was asked to make the appropriate provisions by the court. Jitendra Nath Vyas, a Vyas family member who has been granted permission to pray within the mosque next to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, expressed his happiness at being able to pray at the Tehkhana once more. “We are very happy that we have got the permission to resume puja there,” he stated. The ‘Vyas Ka Tekhana’ section of the Gyanvapi mosque complex is where Hindu devotees are able to offer prayers, according to a Varanasi court ruling on Wednesday. According to the Vyas family member, he and priests conducted puja in front of district officials in the basement.
