SRINAGAR, Oct 29: Terrorists shot and gravely injured a Jammu and Kashmir Police officer on Sunday in central Srinagar, according to police. According to the officials, terrorists shot Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani while he was playing cricket at the Eidgah pitch with several local lads. The wounded cop was flown to a medical facility. He was receiving care from doctors, who said that his condition was critical.The Kashmir Zone Police said, “Terrorists fired upon & injured Inspector Masroor Ahmad near Eidgah, Srinagar,” in a post on X, formerly Twitter. He was taken right away to the hospital to receive care. According to preliminary investigation, this terror act involved the use of a firearm. Section blocked off, complaint filed.
