New Delhi, Aug 8: According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Tuesday that the opposition’s no-confidence vote is a manifestation of the mutual mistrust between INDIA bloc parties as they are trying to determine who agrees and who disagrees with their idea.
He called the opposition alliance “ghamandia” (characterised by arrogance) in his speech to party MPs at the BJP parliamentary conference. He also complimented the party’s Rajya Sabha members for their “semi-final” victory in the vote on the Delhi services bill.As he voiced optimism about the BJP’s prospects in the national elections, Modi, sources said, remarked that some opposition members had termed the voting in the Rajya Sabha as a semi-final before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
