The country is still incredibly proud of their bravery and commitment. In a post on X, PM Modi stated, “Their sacrifices and unwavering spirit will forever be etched in the people’s hearts and our nation’s history.” He said, “India remembers their indomitable spirit and salutes their courage.” “We pay heartfelt tributes to all the brave heroes who dutifully served India in 1971, ensuring a decisive victory,” the prime minister said on Vijay Diwas. Bangladesh was created as a result of India’s resounding victory against Pakistan.
