New Delhi, Dec 16:On the occasion of “Vijay Diwas,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi honoured the heroes of India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war on Saturday. The country is still incredibly proud of their bravery and commitment. In a post on X, PM Modi stated, “Their sacrifices and unwavering spirit will forever be etched in the people’s hearts and our nation’s history.” He said, “India remembers their indomitable spirit and salutes their courage.” “We pay heartfelt tributes to all the brave heroes who dutifully served India in 1971, ensuring a decisive victory,” the prime minister said on Vijay Diwas. Bangladesh was created as a result of India’s resounding victory against Pakistan.
