NASHIK: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said prayers at the Shree Kalaram Mandir in Nashik, Maharashtra. At the Mandir Sansthan, PM Modi participated in the puja rituals and saw the epic narrative recitation of the Ramayana, particularly the ‘Yudh Kanda’ chapter that narrates Lord Ram’s homecoming to Ayodhya. The recitation was performed in Marathi, and the Prime Minister listened to the Hindi translation via artificial intelligence (AI). This demonstrated the amazing fusion of tradition and technology. On the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s birth, the prime minister also presented flowers to the man in Nashik.Situated beside the banks of the Godavari, in the Panchavati neighbourhood of Nashik, lies the Shree Kalaram Mandir. Panchavati holds a particular place in the Ramayana’s legend since it is the site of several significant incidents. For a few years, Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lakshman lived in the Dandakaranya jungle in the Panchavati area. Days before Ram Lalla’s grandiose ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ event in Ayodhya on January 22, Prime Minister Modi paid a visit to the Shree Kalaram temple. Additionally, PM Modi will give a speech and open the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik.
