FEB 14, 2024 : On Wednesday, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, met bilaterally with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Fortifying All-encompassing Strategic Collaboration! Today in the UAE, he will also inaugurate the Bharat Mart. Indian MSMEs can trade from this warehouse facility in Dubai, and exporters from India will have a single platform to display a range of goods. PM Modi and President Andry Rajoelina of Madagascar met one-on-one earlier today in Abu Dhabi. Several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged in the presence of PM Narendra Modi and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during their bilateral meeting on Tuesday. At the ‘Ahlan Modi’ event in Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Sports Stadium, Prime Minister Modi also spoke to the Indian diaspora. The UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was congratulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the BAPS Hindu Temple, which will be dedicated today. He said the temple is a symbol of his love and respect for India. Additionally, the two presidents met bilaterally in Abu Dhabi and exchanged memorandums of understanding. According to PM Modi, the fact that the two leaders have met five times in the past seven months—a very “rare” occurrence—indicates the strength of the connection between India and the United Arab Emirates. “This is our closeness and the way we have advanced in every subject; I have also had the chance to visit this place seven times. India and the UAE have cooperative partnerships in all areas. We have a lot of crucial decisions ahead of us. The Prime Minister declared, “We are launching UPI and our Jeevan card, both of which are starting a new era of fintech, and this is also very big in and of itself.”
